On the eve of the Old New Year, January 13, the First Channel aired Let Them Talk show dedicated to New Year's wishes. Miracles happen! The New Year's dream of a young chess player - six-year-old Islam Khasanov from the Tyumen region - came true. The boy decided to visit the capital of our state and meet with sixth FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov. The large Khasanov family was invited to Moscow.

The Khasanov family is known as a chess family: Emil, Ramil and Islam study at MAU DO "Youth Sports School of Yarkov Municipal District" while the younger Aziz is just learning the basics of the intellectual game.
Emil and Ramil are multiple champions and prize-winners of regional competitions. Islam is the champion of the region, a participant in the regional competitions "Young Stars". He is showing great promise in chess.

A tragedy struck the family two years ago: Islam’s father died in a car accident. Now Islam and his three brothers are being raised by their mother.

In addition, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, together with Natalya Pochinok, helped the future grandmaster to become a participant in the prestigious Moscow Open chess tournament.
