The tournament "Chess stars of the Baltic Sea" was completed in Narva

December 13 in Narva (Estonia) ended VII junior tournament "Chess stars of the Baltic Sea." It was attended by teams of Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Estonia. 
The winners were the Russians - international master Alex Zenzera and Anna Styazhkina (up to 19 years), the candidates for the master of Alexander Shirokov and Daria Skafar (up to 17 years), Dmitry Shcheglov and Maria Petrochenko (15 years), FIDE Master Kirill Shubin and Maya Eliseev (up to 13 years), Vladislav Efremov and Asya Muradyan (under 11 years).

Earlier, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov has sent a greeting letter to the participants of the tournament in Narva, in which, inter alia, called on all fans of the ancient game "fight for the chess board, to confront if it happens, only on the chess desk".
