On October 5, over a hundred countries celebrate World Teachers' Day. This is a professional holiday for all teachers, tutors and educators - a day when the role and merits of teachers as well as their invaluable contribution to the development of society are celebrated.
The first Kalmykia President, sixth FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov congratulated teachers and veterans of pedagogical work in Kalmykia on Teacher's Day. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, a graduate of Elista school No. 3, wrote:
“Our dear Teachers! I congratulate you on your professional holiday, Teacher's Day! I will never forget the generosity of your loving hearts, your patience and understanding, dedication and love for us, your students!
