Kirsan Ilyumzhinov congratulates fellow countrymen on Zul holiday

Dear fellow countrymen, please accept my best wishes on the Zul holiday! Since ancient times, our people have solemnly celebrated this sacred day for every Kalmyk. Every family prepares for it with special trepidation. We associate this holiday with hopes for prosperity and happiness in the new year.

Zul heralds the coming of the New Year. On this day, we remember the customs of our ancestors, pray for happiness for our relatives and friends, say good wishes, calling for peace and harmony in our homes.
Everyone grows a year older in Zul. On this holiday Kalmyks pray and light ritual lamps, bake fragrant bortsoks, and brew delicious Kalmyk tea.
May joy and festive mood fill our hearts on this joyful day. May every family in Kalmykia celebrate Zul with hope and faith in their hearts. May the coming year be a year of good luck and fulfilment of everyone’s aspirations. I believe that the coming year will open new opportunities and will be rich in good events.

I wish you, dear fellow countrymen, good health, patience and kindness, faith in your strength and perseverance in the implementation of your goals. May the coming year be happy for you!
