Kirsan Ilyumzhinov’s message to Bosya Sarangova with the New Year and birthday greeting

On January 1, Bosya Sarangova celebrates her 90th birthday. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov said that he had received a letter from Bosya Sarangova’s children and grandchildren. They turned to Ilyumzhinov with a request to congratulate their grandmother on her birthday. The letter reads as follows:

“Our family respects you very much as a worthy son of your people, a wise politician and just a good person!
We are always interested in your publications; we gratefully accept your congratulations to our sunny Kalmykia! Our Eedzha loves you very much. She listens attentively to your video messages and is proud that you adequately represent our Kalmykia and our small people!
On January 1, 2022, our Eedzha turns 90! She is a great hard worker. She was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples. She is a veteran of Russia and Kalmykia; she has medals and certificates. An elderly person of such a respectable age does not need much from life: she raised her children and grandchildren; she is happy with her great-grandson! All she needs is attention and warm communication! She has an analytical mind and a wonderful memory!

You are for our Eedzha, like Peter the Great for Russia by the scale of your personality and activities. It would be a wonderful gift for her to receive your best wishes on her birthday! We will be very grateful for your attention and understanding! We sincerely respect and love you!"

“Bossa Sarangovna,” said Ilyumzhinov, “has passed a glorious, difficult and heroic life path. Together with all the Kalmyk people, she was in exile. Returning from the Novosibirsk region, she joined the restoration of our republic. For 32 years, she worked as a moulder at the Caspian Brick Factory. It is because of such people that the Kalmyks survived and preserved their traditions. I bow to you! Happy birthday, and all the best in coming year!"
