On January 1, Bosya Sarangova celebrates her 90th birthday. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov said that he had received a letter from Bosya Sarangova’s children and grandchildren. “Bossa Sarangovna,” said Ilyumzhinov, “has passed a glorious, difficult and heroic life path. Together with all the Kalmyk people, she was in exile. Returning from the Novosibirsk region, she joined the restoration of our republic. For 32 years, she worked as a moulder at the Caspian Brick Factory. It is because of such people that the Kalmyks survived and preserved their traditions. I bow to you! Happy birthday, and all the best in coming year!"
