Representative of the Dalai Lama speaks about his health after being quarantined

The spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism, the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso, is feeling great after being isolated due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Telo Tulku Rinpoche, Honorary Representative of the Dalai Lama in Russia, the CIS countries and Mongolia reports on April 15.

The 14th Dalai Lama has again resumed teachings, but there is still a long way to go to return to the previous mode of operation. During the period of restrictions associated with the coronavirus pandemic, the Buddhist leader was in quarantine. Even under such circumstances, His Holiness repeatedly held meetings and teachings online.
“His Holiness the Dalai Lama is healthy and doing great. There is no need to worry about his state of health. He is gradually starting to meet with people, but the number of audiences granted to him is still limited ... The opportunity to see His Holiness and listen to his instructions after a break of almost three years is a great joy for the followers of Tibetan Buddhism,” Rinpoche said.

“It is a long way to return to the usual work schedule of His Holiness as it was before quarantine. The safety and well-being of the spiritual master is considered the highest priority. He is still full of strength and energy, however, compared to previous years, he began to get easily tired,” said Rinpoche.
