Chess clubs and academies in Kazakhstan and Singapore to bear the name of Ilyumzhinov

Schools will be built in Nursultan (Kazakhstan) and Singapore, where there will be a chess academy, which will be named after the sixth President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov. Currently, work is underway on the working project. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at a meeting with members of the national women's chess team of Kazakhstan and representatives of the chess federation approved a number of proposals for the development of chess in the country. The President supported the proposals to include chess as an optional subject in the school curriculum, the construction of a boarding school in Almaty with an in-depth study of chess. In addition, the Head of State focused on the importance of entrepreneurs supporting the development of chess. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that he would continue to pay great attention to the development and support of chess.
