On 26th of February, the President of FIDE and IMSA Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met  with the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of VI World Mind Games, China’s Sports Vice Minister Feng Jianzhong as well as with the Vice-Governor of Jiangsu Province; the head of the Chinese Bridge Association Xiang Huaicheng and the Municipal secretary of Huai'an City Yao Xiao Dong. He presented them with the souvenir sets of Kalmyk chess.

Afterwards, the head of FIDE proceeded to the gaming room, where he inspected the Intelliada chess tournament by making the first move in the match between Ju Wenjun and Monika Socko. Later, he attended the meeting of the Executive Committee of IMSA.
