Ilyumzhinov decides to combine music and chess

On July 13, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met with the Deputy General Director of the Associationof Tchaikovsky IvanShcherbak in Moscow.

The parties agreed to combine art and chess. Incidentally, such creative symbiosis does not seem unusual: many famous grandmasters (for example, Mark Taimanov and Vasily Smyslov) perfectly played music and the chess experts often consider chess to be the art forms, which is not far from the truth.
