In short, this film is about how a very young girl from Uganda trains to become a world chess champion. The plot, based on true events, captures the audience from the first minute. A teenage girl Fiona from Uganda is suddenly fond of chess, and this fascination has become her reason to live, an opportunity to break out of poverty.
Chess changed the fate of the girl. But how not to miss her lucky break, and what will be the payment for success of a young chess player? Fiona overcomes all difficulties and, in the end, breaks out of a miserable life. But what did the girl in search for a better life and what conclusions did she make?
