“The Dalai Lama said a lot of things that I could not understand 10 years ago. But 10 years have passed, and since then children were born and something new in happened in my life.
Now I understood what the Dalai Lama meant. The main thing is that his prophecies are positive. We should be happy about this.
They call him a prophet, although he belongs to another faith. We shall see. I travel a lot and see what is happening in my country. And I can say that a very bright and beautiful future awaits us,” Philip Kirkorov noted.
The singer spoke about his meeting with the Dalai Lama and how it affected his life.
“For a long time I have been friends with Kirsan Ilyumzhinov. And once about 20 years ago I mentioned that I had a dream to meet with the Dalai Lama. 15 years have passed, and Kirsan called me and said: "I am going to meet with the Dalai Lama, do you want to go with me?"
Despite some very important events that awaited me in Moscow, I took a vacation and flew with Kirsan to this meeting, to those three days we spent there as special guests of the Dalai Lama.
His teaching and philosophy are unforgettable. Most importantly, I could feel the light that came from him and enormous kindness and peace that immediately fell over to me.
I do not know whether this is a coincidence, whether it is an accident or was it because of a meeting with the Dalai Lama, but after that, everything somehow fell into place in my life.
Probably, I was lucky to be one of the fortunate few to spend three whole days in the company of the Dalai Lama, thanks to Kirsan Ilyumzhinov,” Philip Kirkorov said.
