Ilyumzhinov said that Kasparov is mediocre politician

FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov gave a comment in the pages of "Russian newspaper" about the removal of the 13th world champion Garry Kasparov from chess activity (for two years) because of the grossest violations of the code of ethics of the organization.
- We defended and will defend the ideals of fair play, no matter what the names and titles. Over the years of my presidency, it is - the first attempt to use dirty methods in FIDE.

As a result, the Ethics Commission adopted a solution that meets the letter of the law and the ideals of sport. Deeply disappointed that the great chess player turned out to be a mediocre politician and defamed his name corruption scandal - said Ilyumzhinov.
