Feedback from watching the "Disappeared" show about FC Uralan on Match TV

FC Uralan (Elista). What happened to the team, are there any chances of their return, where did it all start, and what are the former players and coaches doing now? The first president of Kalmykia, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, composer Arkady Mandzhiev, ex-coach of the team Leonid Slutsky, former footballers Oleg Kuzmin, Erendzhen Tsebekov, Viktor Lidzhiev, Eduard Bogdanov, as well as fans and veterans of the club, spoke about this in the "Disappeared" show.

A bit of history. FC Uralan, which means "Forward" in Kalmyk, was formed in 1958. In 1997, Uralan, having won in the first division, received the right to play in the top division of the football championship.

The 1998 Russian Football Championship became the most successful in the history of the club, the team, having taken the final seventh place, got into the Major League. In 2000, the team, finding themselves in last place has been relegated to the first league. In the same year, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov officially became the president of the club. The following year, the team again moved to the top league, finishing second in the first division. The fans supported the team when it played in the first division, and after returning to the top, all home games were held with full stands.

Here are some responses from Instagram readers of Kirsan Ilyumzhinov:
Revive our Uralan
It would be great if Uralan was revived, this is a national treasure
It was a moment of Inspiration!
Football is not only a sport, it is communication of millions. It is a pity that there is no FC Selengi (Ulan-Ude) Where there is football there is a full-blooded life, it is time for the governors and heads of the republics to think about it
For many, this is Youth, Vigour and Frenzied Energy, which united not only the youth but the whole of Kalmykia!
Yes, it was good time! Thank you very much, Kirsan Nikolaevich, for such a celebration and a holiday of football
I want FC Uralan to be restored! Good luck and great victories! Uralan means forward!
Today, I watched Match TV. Yes, this is a sad picture of the state of Kalmyk football. The story was rich and glorious, especially about the victory over Spartak. I recognized Eduard Bogdanov, who once played for our Chita Lokomotiv, and, as far as I remember, once after the cup match with CSKA in Chita I managed to talk to him and take a picture...
