After completing his visit to Africa, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived in London where he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Great Britain Alexander Yakovenko on the evening of June 12.

FIDE President left a note in the book of honorable guests, warmly congratulated the Ambassador on Russia Day and presented him with a valuable gift -- a chess kit of a member of the British royal family David Armstrong-Jones.
