Festive performance consisted of two parts: the first one was a rock opera "The Three Musketeers", in which actors of the Children's Musical and Drama Theatre presented chess version of the most famous work by Alexandre Dumas, and the second one was a simultaneous chess game held by the Snow Maiden. The chess Snow Maiden - Grandmaster Maria Fominykh - was ready to test the serious fighting mood of the children, who, having received gifts, self-assuredly sat at the chess tables.
Simul lasted until late in the evening. None of the guests and participants did not want to leave, because, as in the real chess battles, everyone forgot about the time.
Chess beauty is able to amaze and enthrall both adults and children. The events like this should happen as often as possible, because chess is a unique method of education of the younger generation that creates a sense of beauty.
