On April 27, the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts opened an exhibition called Live Life at the Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery.The exhibition was organized by the IDEA Foundation in cooperation with the Russian Academy of Arts and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and is dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia.
The basis of the exposition is the works of the founder of IDEA Foundation Leila Aliyeva. She showed her paintings in Paris, Berlin and London.
The exhibition features the works of nine other Azerbaijani and Russian artists. Caring about the problems of environment is the theme that united Azerbaijani and Russian artists.
The money raised from the sale of paintings is planned to fund the restoring the ecosystem of the largest river of Transcaucasia – Kura.
