The other day, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited Uzbekistan, where he congratulated Dmitry Li on his new position. As we wrote earlier, Dmitry Romanovich Li, President of the Uzbekistan Chess Federation, was recently appointed director of the National Agency for Project Management under the President of Uzbekistan (NAPU).He was appointed the first deputy director of NAPU in August 2017. In June 2018, Dmitry Li headed the Uzbekistan Chess Federation. The National Agency for Project Management was established by presidential decree on 24 July, 2017.
In January of this year, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On development of an effective model of state regulation and management of the integrated development of Jizzakh region”. The implementation of the pilot project “Ilgor Hudud” (“Advanced Region”) will begin in the Jizzakh region on 1 March, 2019.
Structural reforms aimed to improve the investment climate, living conditions and increase the incomes of the region’s population will be implemented. The National Agency for Project Management (NAPU) under the President of Uzbekistan will prepare and implement the project.
