Ilyumzhinov on the creation of a fund to identify and support gifted children from low-income families

The first president of Kalmykia, the sixth president of FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov came up with the initiative to create a private fund to search and support talented children from low-income and large families, disabled children and orphans.

“I’m sure that committed and concerned people who are ready to provide versatile assistance in this important and responsible matter will join the work to identify Russian talents,” Ilyumzhinov said.

Kirsan Ilyumzhinov is confident that gifted children should be at the centre of national interest of any state. “In my opinion, the main mission of the state should be to identify and support talented children, regardless of their social status and material resources of the family,” wrote the First President of Kalmykia.
"First luck." In my opinion, it is a great name for a private foundation engaged in searching and support talented children from low-income and large families, children with disabilities and orphans,” said Kirsan Ilyumzhinov.
We must look everywhere so as not to miss a young Repin or Tchaikovsky, to locate the new Einstein or Mendeleev, to see modern Lomonosov in the child,” Ilyumzhinov said.
